I dig that DC has switched gears and is doing kind of an Elseworlds approach, the opposite of Marvel’s interconnected universe (which is also super fun on its own). It’s kind of what Marvel started doing in the early 2000s, handing their properties over to auteurs to interpret. I don’t think the Joker needs an origin,…
Even before the studio stepped in, Justice League was meant to be redemptive and brighter
Nope, it’s how video is viewed and why phones are shaped like small HD TVs. Phone-shot video isn’t just meant to be viewed on a phone, it lives every where and I can’t flip my 40" TV just because of some lazy kid’s AV fail.
Wrong. Portrait mode is never correct for video unless you’re a remote guest on Pardon the Interruption. Video players are landscape, even on a phone because it’s how our eyes tend to see the world around us. You don’t read a video.
Oh for sure. Especially him being an Aussie, who wouldn’t want to go to NZ and work with Peter Jackson as the lead villain in the next Tolkein franchise rather than a grunty lacky in a cable series? I think he filmed a lot of scenes for The Hobbit and they only replaced him with a CGI character in the 11th hour once…
The real Flashpoint Paradox
At least Alfred was prepared for backing up a crime fighter. Poor Aunt May didn’t know what she was getting in to.
Bummer for him that the part he left GoT for, Bolg in The Hobbit, was eventually recast.
while we ended up with a Death of Superman moment in just 2 movies.
Meanwhile there’s their younger less-athletic brother, Darryl Devil.
AND it’s immediately after a different prophetic dream American Werewolf in London-style
Ezra Miller is decent actor, but he is not Barry Allen. Huge swing and a miss.
It’s bizarre the “Wonder Woman checks her email” scene was left in (same goes for the “Future Flash wakes up Bruce from a nap”). It’s an extended Easter Egg for the Franchise that’s dropped right in the middle an already overlong finale. Any Editor could see it (further) derailed a slog of a movie.
Major events have felt a little reverse-engineered as of late
They kind of adapted it on this season of Arrow.
I thought he was ok, just by default. He is kind of the audience’s cypher among titans. He is a decent actor, but he is super miscast as Barry Allen. Or Snyder’s version of Barry Allen isn’t recognizable as any Barry Allen to date.
At some point, maybe a decade ago, that was the plan with Flash. Since there have been so many Flashes, there was going to be a Flash “legacy” movie with Wally and Jay supporting Barry. I think it was David Goyer’s plan after Supermax fell through.
you need a butter gun!
Coaches are the highest paid employee in many states. It’s not just students who get financially fleeced - the top-heavy salaries of university administrations means those that teach aren’t exactly seeing that money. Sure, full-time professors (who often teach grad courses, have Summers off and the more than…
