@asmemnoch: The volume buttons don't function if the screen is not turn on. If my iPad is in my bag I can now just reach in an mute it without turning the screen on.

@ThePriceofEggsinMalta: It only mutes alerts and push notifications. They should make it mute everything though.
I prefer it as a mute switch. You can now mute the device discreetly during a meeting. There is never a need to rotate lock discreetly.
There's nothing wrong with just following orders.
@bechesley: I have the one disc plan currently, and can stream to my Xbox in the bedroom and PS3 in the living room at the same time.
@rubbabiscuit: I know a guy that uses one of these with 3D Max. I do a lot more scripting, so I never tried it though.
@dustin.hendrickson: Just go to docs.google.com to access and edit your docs. A native app would be cool though.
It's not a notebook, but my favorite sketch books are Biggie Jr. They have a really thick back cardboard for stability and since I'm left handed I don't have to use it backwards/upside down.
I've had the same experience as many others. My iPhone worked fine today, but my wife's went off an hour late.
@NamelessFragger: The Engadget link specifies a Wacom digitizer. The HP tm2 laptop featured the first Wacom digitizer to use more than two point multi touch. I haven't used a newer N-Trig, but I hope they cleared that up because they were a pain to work with.
Middle click does the same thing as shift click, as far as I can tell.
@michael.accounts: The syncing work great, but you don't get pop-ups for meeting invitations. That only works on exchange.
Awesome, it has a Wacom brand digitizer! The N-Trig digitizers are okay, but many art applications don't support pressure sensitivity with those.
Steam is precisely how an App Store should be on the desktop.
@wild7s: 25K was the first day sell thru. Total sales after six months was just under 4 million. We subtracted the reported day one sales from the number of unique serial numbers that joined the game servers. I'm sure most of the 1 million was downloaded before the game servers were running. The demo numbers were…
I'm a little torn on this incident. I see the RIAA as an unforgiving giant, and the kid as the victim.
I would like to see a comparison of drawing and painting apps for iPad.
We keep in touch with relatives in Mexico, from Texas, with Windows Live Messenger video chat. Mostly because we don't use long distance minutes, and we only see them in person once a year.
While perception and lenses cause some weirdness, I think light plays a key role as well. In the attached image one ball is lit with a camera flash. This means the light source is in pretty much the same spot as the camera. This produces a flat image, and the shadow cast on the background actually makes the ball look…
