@OCEntertainment: Yeah, I have family that types "yahoo.com" into the google search box when they use my computer.
As a Hispanic that has worked in game development for about 10 years I can state my observations (not opinions) of the Dallas game industry.
(Firefox) I while ago I discovered that the Shift + MiddleClick in the Bookmark Sidebar acts the opposite than it does in a web page.
I use Media Monkey to copy music to/from my iPhone between my work and home PCs. Until they let you do that out of the box, it's useless to me.
Vote: O&O Defrag Pro
I remember when at work we upgraded from a 1.5 Mb T1 connection to a 45 Mb DS3 connection. So much better.
@mrsilver: I'm also excited about this program, but it is a little lite on features right now. A benefit of just bookmarking en.m.wikipedia.org in Safari is that you can have multiple tabs open.
@acercenia: That's so true. I noticed the same thing buying my wife a bracelet a couple of weeks ago. I told her to keep in mind the bracelet would look less sparkly without all the spot lights. I was at Tiffany's, BTW.
@Hey_Blinkon: "Game Sleep" described in the article let's you exit the game, and continue using the PSP web, music, and/or other games. Then when you start that game it pick up from where you left off. "System Sleep" is what you're describing that lets you use the power button to turn off the screen and resume later…
Currently "Always", but maybe by the time the 5th gen iPhone and it's competitors are out, I won't anymore.
Pretty nice. Although, the most comfortable place to sit in a corner desk is the corner, at least for me.
This is pretty cool. 99% of the time I see web pages refreshing only to cycle to the next advertisement.
@AtomFury: Works for me now.
@watcher_b: Very true. I got one 5 years ago at work. I didn't think it was extra comfortable at the time, but now when I sit in another chair I realize how quickly I fatigue. One of my favorite things is the mesh back and seat. It prevents you from sweating after being in the zone for a few hours.
@Toshie: It still says freeware on their page, and I just installed it without any indication that it's a trial.
@Gina Trapani: Cool, I didn't know the date thing. I may not have explained my process correctly. But this video is worth a thousand words: multitask.mp4
You can "import" by creating a list in a text file. Copy the contents to the clipboard. Click to make a new GTask and when you paste each line of the text file will be a separate task. Unfortunately, this doesn't import due dates, notes, and other stuff.
@DCATraveler: Washable filters are available, so that you don't have to spend ~$20 every month or so. The one I use has a static charge that attracks dust. At the store I tested it buy holding my arm against it and feeling the little hairs stand on end. :)
