The problems are limited to the ZF 9 Speed, which is odd because ZF typically makes fantastic transmissions. The 9 Speed is probably a unique failure.

According to a quick google search, some transmissions have been replaced altogether.
Ford is finally putting out decent products. Here’s to hoping they stick to their word and just proceed as they have been for the last two years. Who knows what a merger would do to the end product.
Software flashes, similar to what others have done. My understanding is that the flashes minimize the jerkiness because it tweaks the shifting software.
Mostly hard shifting and gear searching. Similar to what has been complained with respect to the Cherokees.
People have been complaining about the ZF 9AT in the TLX on the Acura forums. The only car that I know of withthe transmission that I haven’t read any complaints about is the Evogue.
False. No Portfolio Manager seriously drives an Accord. Maybe they do it ironically.
The Mustang, the Jeep Wrangler and the Grand Cherokee are good examples. The people I know that own these vehicles run the spectrum from college student to senior professional.
That ZF 9 Speed is awful. I’ve seen complaints from owners of almost every car that has one.
Do they let you use the touch screen while driving yet? I hated that Toyota used to lock the touch screen interface while the car was in motion.
Agree with Honda. The dual screen set-up is not the most logical set-up. Additionally, Honda’s gauges are straight out of the 1990s, particularly when compared with the competition from Mazda and Ford (More troubling-Acura’s gauges aren’t much different).
Does this require premium or regular gas?
Came here to say the same thing. Jeep Cherokee.
Jeep Cherokee comes to mind. It is not a photogenic car, but it is actually a decent looking car in person:
This car would have been interesting had it come out ten years ago. It looks dated already.
Ford’s new interiors are fantastic for non-luxury cars.
Next up: Fix the outdated Accord so it can better compete with the Mazda6 and Fusion.
This is my issue with the RX. The rear hatch is so sloped that it makes the cargo area much smaller than you would think. Most people cross-shop the RX with the MDX, and the MDX has significantly more cargo space in the back.
What? The production 200 and the Fusion don't look anything alike. The Fusion is actually a very good looking car from a design standpoint.
Isn't the Jag AWD system just the carry over from the Ford Torque Vectoring AWD? I didn't think Jag had its own proprietary AWD system.
