I live in Texas. For a good part of the year, at 8AM it is over 95°. My neighbors can suck it up once every three weeks. In reality, they are often working on their own yards at 8AM on weekends.

I grew up nextdoor to a cow pasture. Unmowed lawns support fire ants, ticks, fleas, mosquitos, snakes, mice, rats and chiggers. If you want all of that, please move out of the city.
