God, yes. I wish he had died. It would have made the show bearable.

Well, a bunch of other reviewers also gave it about that grade so if "being cool" = "having the same opinion as a lot of other reviewers," then I guess he's cool?

I saw Watership Down when I was 7 - the event is scarred into my memory. I was not the same after.

I've never been so tense watching a film trailer.

I didn't think girls were icky, nor romance, and I still found that to be the most boring QL episode of the whole run.

@sumogrip:disqus yeah, it's unfortunate but much of the music was replaced because they couldn't afford the royalties. It drove me crazy when I re-watched it, because "Georgia on my mind" was perfect for that scene.

That Vietnam episode was one of the most affecting hours I saw as a kid. Dean Stockwell did some fantastic acting on that show.

They were terrible. It was definitely the jump-the-shark moment for the show.

Oh, hi, my too. I guess this was some sort of common nerd experience?

Dear Savage Dik,

@avclub-e2b2ad10a0cce81f7b1757538471f089:disqus wait - do you mean you have comically short arms and massive thighs?

It's actually a pretty bad dumb pop song. I feel like punching Katy Perry in her bank account every time I hear it. It's a trite and banal attempt by a rich, famous and attractive person to convince her vulnerable but stupid teenage audience that she is capable of relating to them in some way.

As someone who was once a little kid, I'm insulted that you think that the best children deserve is banal music by Katy Perry.

I'm not a metal fan, got laid, and still hate Katy Perry.

So things aren't going to improve until Russia and China's film industries become as big as Hollywood, and can produce their own home-grown garbage?

I have to admit, I had no why people were sooooo excited about the dialogue in that film when it came out. Everyone was raving about that stupid quarter-pounder with cheese scene and I was baffled when I saw it. I still don't understand why people found that scene so impressive.

Sometimes I think reviewers will instantly rate any film suffused in nihilism higher. It's really dark - it MUST be good!

I'm into it. Most of them time covers fail to live up to the original, though. The exception was Gabriel's version of "The Book of Love," which I thought was better than the original.
