Better Call Saul is the exception that proves the rule: compelling dramatic stakes are very difficult when the ending is already known.

Thank you for the great festival coverage. You’ll be dearly missed. Fuck G/O Media.

My choices:

Got my booster on Monday! Took less than 20 mins. I had to nap a bunch yesterday but now feel fine. It’s almost like keeping up with vaccines is NOT A HARD THING AT ALL TO JUST FUCKING DO in order to protect others and reduce the transmission numbers as a whole.

Why on every Kotaku thread about literally any game there is someone explaining how they don’t like the game in question. I don’t want to be rude but nobody cares.

I loved how the PSP remake of Let Us Cling Together handled leveling and changing jobs, but in some ways it made the game too easy - since there wasn't as much need for level grinding, you could win most fights by barrelling towards the enemy leader ASAP. I wish they had rebalanced the fights when they changed the

This place has so gone to shit, I can’t believe it’s the same site I read with Dodai, Lindy, Erin Gloria, etc. back in the day. Every writer now has to have the worst take, the edgy, bitchy take, the contrarian-14-year-old take. Between that and graying anyone who looks at them sideways, I’m just about done with this

Are you fucking kidding with this garbage Tom Cruise take? Look, the guy is a fucking corny weirdo, but considering how many rich ASSHOLES we’ve seen just pretending COVID is not a thing so that their precious little lives don’t get the least bit interrupted, it’s fucking REFRESHING to see a celeb take it seriously.

Excuse me, the movie is GREAT. Yes, it’s different from the comic in a lot of ways, but it’s an excellent adaptation that does its own thing while still being true to the comic.

“The movie is fine"???

Dang... I at least hope his corpse isn’t just floating loosely around inside a space shuttle... RIP

It’s a few years old now, but I recently read an interview with him where he talks about playing Sam (in addition to sharing some Goofy thoughts similar to the ones here). It’s worth a read:

Here’s an interview Bill did regarding Sam & Max:

Holy crap, Sam is Goofy? Somehow I’ve been a fan of Sam & Max for 25 years without knowing this. Gawrsh, is there any breed of dog this guy can’t play?

I am surprised they are going to try it in summer, mainly because it is a new budget year for many of these companies which means there will be now 2 expensive trips to GDC in the same year. Right now I am going to have to beg to get this re-authorized once there is a date.

Hard not to stump for Ziggy Stardust (or any of Bowie’s concept albums), but in recent times I’m loving The Hazards Of Love by The Decemberists.

Oooh, Kaputt. Good catch.

I think that this is a fine list and have no direct complaints because lists are subjective and meaningless.

Not a single MCU album smdh
