You do realize that 1Password has a "cloud" option, right? And you do realize that Macs are just as prone to viruses as Windows, right?

Well its all about convenience. Using Keepass is not very convenient if its only local. Having your password db on a single computer is by far the most secure method, but its also the least convenient.

You have to edit the site and choose "Autologin" for it to "stick".

Thats the point of multifactor authentication. Your LP password + the other authentication.... In your case, you have the dropbox password and your Keepass password. How is that "more secure" ?

If someone gets ahold of your twitter password, they could figure out your scheme and use it on other sites. Random passwords, 12 char or more, trumps all.

"I can memorize and maintain some pretty secure password schemes without Lastpass."

I thought about doing this but what exactly is a huge hassle?

The blog post on the top of the list is "IsComputer". How does that offer 2 factor authentication?

I had the same question. Where do you setup trusted devices? Wouldnt trusted devices be a second factor authentication? Say I only access LP from my work computer, home computer, and phone. All other computers shouldnt be able to access it, correct?

Wrong.

@ unbendable_girder, you really should find out the facts before you make comments like that. LastPass does not store your master password...

Your link is just a link to that blog. What article are you referring to?

Maybe because the user base is so small nobody is actively targeting it. The same is true for Windows vs Mac...

Which version of Opera?

Its true for any type of screen technology, white uses more battery. On AMOLED though, blacks use very little power compared to other screen technology.

Is that a Windows phone? While it looks pretty cool, the white background on that music app must be a vampire to the battery.

Not a very good printable cheat sheet. Sure it looks colorful and aged but I want something that is easy to read to put in my camera case. Might just make my own based on this.

Chop the tree down and use a tape measure.

I just bought a "knockoff" battery from Amazon for my SGS Vibrant for $11 bucks. The company seems legit, nice packaging, 1 year warranty, etc. Anyone have experience with Anker? [www.ianker.com]

What should I do if I go weeks without using my laptop? My primary computer is my desktop, so sometimes I go a week or two without using my laptop.
