Thrillhouse and Snowmoon hit the nail on the head. I didn't think about the savings account they give you, but its probably a low interest account. Like snowmoon, I have a ING account that automatically gets money transferred to it every week. That account gets 5%+.

Sounds like a neat idea. Problem is I use my Citibank Mastercard for ALL of my purchases. Since I get cashback, its more than worth it. Last year I received (2) checks for roughly $200 each. Free money! Yes, free money, I pay off the credit card every month, so no interest is charged. Using a credit card also

I dont get it. Like [kevin.gc] said, why is this better than a regular shower head?

Hmm, id rather use an app on my computer than upload pics. Plus how do you trust that they would delete images after 10min like stated?

@Jonathan Fenocchi,

@doublej,

Brad, household magnets killing a hard drive is a myth. Unless you have a powerful magnet, then you shouldn't have anything to worry about.

@xrobevansx, thats been done before, but years ago retailers stopped accepting returns on BF simply because of this. Makes sense.

Im not sure why so many people are getting upset about a book being used for another purpose. At least its not being thrown away. I have a slew of old books, many from 1880-1930s. Some of them are encyclopedias. Have you seen what these go for on Ebay? Practically nothing!

Cool idea. Im going to do this for my Zen Vison:M. I usually carry it around in a backpack anyway.

This is off topic, but its related to Extensions in Firefox. Im running NoScript, and seem to have problems with posting on Lifehacker. I allowed [lifehacker.com] to run scripts, but it seems the comments posting has a long lagtime (minutes) to show up.

JuryDuty,

JuryDuty, that 42' from Walmart is a EDTV, not HDTV.

Nice. I need something like this for Clip Art, anyone have a site for that?

I agree, NVU just plain...sucks. Im going to give a couple of the recommendations a try on this page.

Posco,

Jalbum is great. Ive tried Gallery and Coppermine Gallery, Jalbum is better if you just want to display your photos. All the naysayers, give it a try again and learn how to use the software. It took me a number of photo gallery's until I finally got everything configured how I like it.

What kind of documents are people using to backup to Gmail? I dont think personal documents should be put on Gmail, maybe im being paranoid? :)

My Canon S3 starts up in less than a second. I debated getting a DLSR, but found it wasn't worth the money. To get a DSLR body, Lens, etc to match the zoom and macro my S3 can do, I would have spent almost 4x as much. I would like to get a DLSR in the future, but Ill wait until they get lower in price (which they

DeaconSune, are you joking? Sure yahoo, msn, and even google maps serve most purposes, but Google Earth is 3D and gives you a better idea of distance, etc. I to used it last year for planning my vacation drive thru 4 states. The 3D terrain layer is also great.
