Serious question: why is this more offensive than the "Guy walking down a sidewalk in New York in jeans and a crew cut" parody, that was raised up as effective satire?

I am trying to be less critical of Taylor because I have definitely been a mean girl in the past, but am I the only one that finds this song holy underwhelming? I can appreciate her attitude behind the video, and I agree that she has been unfairly treated, but I just can't get over how mediocre her music is.
