I started to reply, but stopped.

If you’re a man...

She was using drugs that weren’t banned for years, like dozens of others of players on the tour. So by not stopping using them when the change was made, she committed an error of stupidity or disorganization. There was no moral difference in what she did compared with the other players who used to take it then stopped.

“...she paid a very steep price for something she readily admitted...” after failing a drug test because she and her team, uh, failed to click a link that would have told her that the drug was banned? Listen, I’m actually high right now, so I don’t want to get all holier-than-thou, but she readily admitted using

Did 3-on-3 basketball have the same kind of legal confrontation with real basketball?

I read that as “go on a sub,” and thought “too soon, mate, too soon.”

Gary Sanchez threw a cheap shot to Nick Castellanos while Castellanos was being tackled, then sheepishly ran away. I have zero doubt he gets away with it.

To be honest, while I agree (and use a battery pack in my controller), it can be pretty handy this way. Being able to swap in AAs when the battery dies is kinda nice (and yes, I could plug the controller in, but that’s no fun).

I have a ton of AA rechargeable batteries. When my batteries die, I just toss in a new pair and I’m good to go. I hate that I have to plug in my PS4 controller when it dies. That choice is why MS doesn’t just include rechargeable batteries and I’m glad they don’t.

Because they wanted everyone to have a choice. If my PS4 controller is dead I need to connect it back. If the battery completely dies it’s not very simple to replace. If my Xbox controller dies, I can connect it by the cable, pop a different battery pack in or use my rechargeable batteries.

Rechargable, non-removable batteries in the controller are terrible. It’s so much better to use rechargable AAs, then as soon as they die you just swap them out and remain cordless. If your DS4 dies when you’re ready to play, you need to tie yourself to the console while you recharge.

Proprietary battery packs with crappy battery cells? Well at least you can replace them yourself in this case and not have to send them back to Sony.

I’m glad eSports is getting with the program and suppressing potential earnings of the individual while enriching old white guys via arbitrary rules like a proper sport.

It’s a functional piece of hardware and software that includes lots of awesome games that are hard to get otherwise for the same price. Most of the people that want to buy this are doing so because they want to use it, not stick it behind a glass case and stare at it.
