I agree the books are great, although Dune itself is very long, took my dyslexic ass a while. I’d also suggest pretending they end at Children of Dune. A nice trilogy and NO MORE BOOKS WERE EVER WRITTEN.

It’s been decades since I read Dune (and the subsequent novels) but as I recall, those actors are age wise appropriately cast.

What I struggled with is that the Paul character looks completely genetically unrelated to either parent.

(I know I know, genes are a wily thing but... it’s the movies, could you at least try ?)

It’s fine? Jessica and Leto are played by appropriately aged actors and it’s very normal to cast a person in their 20s to play a teen. I don’t understand why this is even an article, are you guys running out of things to talk about?
