Okay i think you have to balance the NEVER BRUSH attitude with your sanity. I rarely brush but when I get huge knots (inevitable) i soak my hair in conditioner and then try to gently pull it apart/work it out while in the shower. If this doesnt work I brush it gently out, but just the section with the knot. Brushing…
