While I think it is fine for them to speak out about this kind of stuff, they have to be careful because they risk turning into feminist "ambulance chasers." Al Sharpton and Jesse Jackson have both lost a great deal of their credibility because they are perceived to go where the publicity is. Gloria Allred is the

Based on that picture of Career Choices for Girls According to Video Games, I choose to be Tinkerbell. #gardasil

@erinna: I think that she is aware of the fact that she is presenting herself in a professional capacity while using Twitter. But I have a feeling that being flirty and cute are part of that professional persona, so it fits with the image she tries to project. I think her professional image is "fun, flirty,

@Evie Havok: I took it to mean that Bravo doesn't have the kind of veiwership that Telemundo has, that Bravo is kind of small potatos. Sort of like when Jon Stewart jokes that he has no audience since he is on basic cable. I could be wrong, too.

@karmasutra: How old are you now? I became a veg when I was in 7th grade, too, and I still am now, 22 years later. Surprisingly, no one tried to convert me when I was younger, but lots of people try now that I am in my 30s and there is absolutely no chance of me going back.

@blue_streak: That's because you obviously decided to become a veg as a way to insult them. That is why I did it, according to my in-laws.

@BB: That sounds really interesting! Off to the library...

For most activists in every category, including myself if I am honest, that "being against" part is very important, although hard to admit. Of course, activists believe in what they are saying, but that feeling of being on a team that is getting attacked creates this huge bonding experience that makes it worth coming

Thank God Karl had the courage to speak the truth. Fat mothers will ruin EVERYTHING if we let them.

@classicfantastic: I'm not saying it would be a good costume, but I haven't heard anyone deny it, either. I'm just raising the question- with sexy fake tears.
