my problem is in order to hear dialog clearly i have to turn up the volume, but then EFX and music are usually blaring - esp. gun fire, explosions or car crashes. also during regular tv viewing the commercials are RIDICULOUSLY LOUD! Which means I have to watch tv/movies with the remote control in hand.

I was cringing at the teaser for this episode last week - and rightly so. If they didn't jump the shark with S4 episode, "Jump The Shark", then they certainly did last night with "The French Mistake". It was just too meta. I mean absurdly meta. And I truly do LOVE this show.

I think the real problem with the show is that every character is SO duplicitous that it's impossible to believe anyone or their motives. Spaced out over 10 years, it seems like a gradual build up. But when watching seasons back-to-back, you'll realize every characters' motivations are all over the damn place making…
