That was very shitty, and I fully understand if Charles is still mad about that.

Tiger Woods would actually be such an easy one to pull off without being racist! Red Nike polo, Tiger Woods logo Nike hat, golf gloves, and a golf club. We would’ve known who you were without the black makeup, dude!

I’m white so take that for what it’s worth, but I think it’s fine to dress up as a specific person. For example, if a white kid wants to be the Black Panther or Tiana for Halloween, they can wear the costume those characters are known for, and I think that’s perfectly fine.

As a lover of all things royalty, this was a great primer! Thanks, Kelly!

I just imagine Stevie Nicks singing it.

I went to a women’s college and see a lot of parallels with HBCUs. It’s life-altering to be in a place where women are in charge of just about everything, where you’ll never get mansplained or shouted down by a fellow student, where you can feel physically safe walking around at night, where you basically never worry

Yeah, that line was rather laughable. It smacked of trying too hard. It’s OK if you are vaguely aware of the lives of celebrities/royalty!

The US doing what it does best: meddling in other countries’ politics, usually with military force or threat thereof, and then punishing innocent citizens suffering the ill effects of the US’s meddling

This is the best fact I’ve learned today. Thank you.

How is a doctor going to know if a woman has had an abortion recently? If she went to a clinic, it won’t be in her OB or GP’s records.

It was him “putting his spin” on his dad’s recipe. Add an unexpected kind of cheese, or put some panko on top for some crunch, maybe throw some sriracha in the sauce for a subtle kick. But no “spin” should involve extraneous peas.

Counterpoint: There is no reason to ever put Greek yogurt into guacamole at any time. Same goes for peas in macaroni and cheese.

They are paid.

I commented about this above, but for lots of NFL/NBA cheerleaders, it’s a foot in the door to the world of professional dancing. For others, it’s a way to continue doing what they love after college.

A lot of these women have danced their whole lives and love it. Once you’ve graduated from college, there aren’t a lot of opportunities to keep dancing, and NFL/NBA cheerleading fits the bill nicely. Plus, NFL/NBA cheerleading is a foot in the door for a lot of young women looking to make dancing their career.

Hmmm Interesting idea. I like the idea of a more immersive learning environment. But I don’t think it’s really possible to make boarding schools work for kids of all ages, and then you’re still stuck with an outdated model for elementary-aged kids. Plus, I think most people would argue that it’s good for kids to have

Ooooh this is a cool stat! This Loyola Chicago alum is going to use that one as much as possible this week. Thanks!

I also like them. I come from a big family, too, and their dynamic reminds me so much of me and my siblings.

So thrilled for Kaetlyn! In my opinion, she deserved to win the Olympic gold medal last month, too. Her jumps are HUGE, and her skating skills and general performance quality are vastly superior to Zagitova’s. She’s been knocking on the door of success for so long, and I’m glad she’s finally reaping the fruits of her
