A reasonable worry.

From a male viewpoint women have few problems about sex if any. They can always get it, never have to work for it or impress anyone to get it, and so can always refuse it.

The desire isn’t for a slave, it’s for somebody pleasant and helpful. Is having a pleasant attitude, liking someone, not constantly criticizing, nagging, and complaining being a slave?

If they can even be sentient it can probably be prevented.

That’s right. The audience gets too caught up in the action to notice. I seem to remember mentioning the functional weapons in the original Westworld and people responded as though I’d doused them with icewater.

My idea is that most women are competent adults who are able to work the system for the colossal benefits and privileges they have. There’s nothing misogynistic about that.

I never understood why the robots in the original had access to real weapons.
