That’s oversimplified. The vastness of disc space of other systems is not a free lunch either.

I don’t see the problem with that music. Sounds fine to me. The dissonant part is only short, and actually adds some flavour to it, and is a good transition to the part that follows.
I replayed it on my SNES Mini Classic last year as well and enjoyed every minute of it. For me, it holds up well.
“The tone of a language isn’t stereotypical”. Yes it is. Maybe you don’t know enough about languages or how the tone of a language has been used for mockery for ages in many many cultures including English-language ones?
It was.
From a creative standpoint, even artificially limiting yourself can be incredibly refreshing.
Oh, from your nickname, I assumed you slept with one... somewhere else in your body.
It wasn’t hidden, it was mentioned in the very first Switch Direct.
Considering the Switch is built on a mobile platform, no it is not “junk hardware”. It is pretty much highend mobile hardware.
And I still would love a port of The Last Story. I bought both Xenoblade 1 and 2, and I find it far too tedious... the world and its characters are okay, but most of its gameplay systems including quests, battles, and all the other stuff have been done more streamlined and less tedious in other JRPGs, such as more…
You forget one thing. The Wii U had excellent games, that deserve a spotline on a platform with a larger install base, considering the pace at which Nintendo has so far pumped out Wii U ports, they can pad out the gaps between major new releases with “Deluxe editions” of excellent Wii U games.
Though, the top-heavyness could be balanced by having some kind of Switch/Joycon holder with integrated battery pack. More juice, and a higher positioned screen.
Hm, probably. Which means I need a “Nintendo DS”... Dual Switch! Like, with two Switch screens.
I agree fully. Even with 3 blades to switch between, the arts are basically really generic.
I’d like one where you can slot the Switch at the top, in a DS-like way. So that you hold it at the lower part, and the screen is a bit higher up. Just for playing pose (PSVita and Switch style handhelds always force you to look far down, resulting in neck pain for me).
Cardboard is probably the most environmentally friendly way to do this. Much more than plastics anyway.
Cardboard is more environmentally friendly than plastic though. Cardboard rots.
15 cents? Hah. Sure, it’s not 80 dollars worth of cardboard (probably because there is also software involved), but 15 cents for like 8 playsets of pre-cut perforated cardboard in Toy-Con 1 is not realistic.
No, that was Yoshi’s Woolly World.
I actually never could get into XC1... but could get somewhat into XC2 because the character designs were more familiar to me (it has a Tales vibe). Unfortunately, the battle system doesn’t do it for me, it tries to be a bit action-y, but without the excitement and variety of, say, the Tales battle system (could be…
