You just made me not wanna go to North America... big arachnophobe here.

Yeah so? Europe - at least where I am from - IS similarly clean to Japan.

Well, there is a reason for why there aren’t that many public trash disposal places on the streets (most of them are near bus stops). It’s so hot that if you throw stuff away that way, it rots very quickly and stinks up the whole place. They would have to empty those like every 3-4 hours to prevent that.

No but you left out the first sentence, which IMO puts the second into context: “its not nintendo’s people who make a fuss about emulation and copyright”.

the single engineer, programmer, or whatever employee (aka “Nintendo’s people”, as the original poster of this thread said) also != Nintendo.

The main core of the Cell was a PowerPC yes, but the SPUs actually made all the difference (also in complexity). To say it’s not “all that different” from a PowerMac is totally misleading. I suggest you read around some programmer blogs from people who actually program for Cell/PS3. It’s not trivial, if you just use

Yes, but the single engineer, programmer, or whatever employee of the company doesn’t give a shit and probably uses emulators themselves in private.

This is actually conservativism, not liberalism. Even though some persons who consider themselves liberals might be the ones doing it, the action itself is conservative.

I agree with that from an artist’s point of view, but what people have a problem with is less the actual character designs but rather that there are some artists that find overly sexualized objectified designs “cool”.

In that video there is only one voice that sounds like a kid, all the others sound like japanese/Asian adults. And that one kid voice belongs to a character that doesn’t have those boobs anyway.

As long as the legs stay, I’m fine with this.

What? I found Megaman & Bass great. It cleaned the bad aftertaste Megaman 7 left...

Megaman & Bass is kinda missing in this collection...

It’s not an issue at all anymore on the New 3DS, because the eyetracker actually senses where your eyes are and adjust the sweet spot accordingly. New 3DS glasses-less 3D is totally hassle-free (and I’ve had 3DS, 3DS XL, and New 3DS XL).

1.79 million wouldn’t even be so bad for a title with cheaper production cost, but for some AAA title such as Metroid Prime, hard to get back total production cost just to make even...

I don’t know. But it does. So I’m not worried.

Nobody asked for it, but I thoroughly enjoyed it. Though FFTA2 was better even. I had a hard time getting into the original FFT, and just recently finished it. Sure, it had the more mature story, but somehow, FFTA/FFTA2 were more suitable for handhelds IMO.

They probably do it just like the PS Vita does it for PS+ content.

Are these numbers global, or just US?

Secret of Mana, Streetfighter 2, Mario Kart, Contra 3.... basically all the games I used to play with my best friends in the SNES era.
