I completed FF7 back then in 24 hours with SOME sidequesting (but missing lots of the optional stuff still), so it’s about comparable, in my opinion.

I heard good things about 3, but since it feels weird to start with 3, I started with 1, which I hear is very clunky in comparison.
The Arcade version hits a very strange uncanney valley for me. I preferred the PS3 version’s flatter look.
Don’t look at where the icons are coming from, look at the icons already on the screen, they have those clock hands that spin. When they reach the 12 o’clock position, you hit the button. The flying icons are just another hint, but you don’t technically need them.
One of these days, Walking Dead games will come annually, with an inbuilt military mode, where all the zombies are replaced by soldiers.
It might have been that originally, but symbols can change meaning, and the rising sun got a negative meaning after the atrocities the japanese military committed. You could say it was figuratively drenched in blood.
The buddhist symbol used in Asia on maps and the like is mirrored versus the Nazi symbol (which is composed of the two “SS” S letters crossed).
That has been debunked already. It is consensus among historians that he neither participated in the planning nor the actual attempt.
Hitler stopped being Austrian because Austria stopped being Austria. It was unified with Germany, and stopped existing between 1938 and 1945. 1945 was actually Austria’s rebirth as the Second Republic of Austria.
Uhm, nope, a Chinese person’s english accent is completely different from a Japanese or Korean person’s, because the languages are VASTLY different in phonetics.
Considering the Chinese/Taiwanese version of Overwatch isn’t even called Overwatch but 鬥陣特攻 (Dou Zhen Te Gong, literally something like “Special Fighting Attack Group”), a knock-off would probably rather be based on the Chinese title.
What exactly is an “Asian” accent considering there are so many completely different languages in Asia that completely sound different too?
Wasn’t there already a second Final Fantasy Legends game, the “Crystal of Space-Time” one that never got released in the West?
That’s actually not too inaccurate. There was a time where Japanese thought they were the Aryans of the Asian continent, so to say the most valuable people in Asia, justifying the subjugation of other ethnicities in Asia (most prominently Han Chinese).
That’s a bit inaccurate. Historically, it’s hard to establish what Rommel’s private thought about the Nazi Party was, but it is at least a fact that he was never a member of it.
It’s still insensitive, and kind of ignorant by those idols. I’m an Austrian living in Asia right now, and I am quite shocked about the ignorance of historic events here, very often. This idol groups’ costume choice is just another symptom of that.
Uhm. Japan was involved? Germany was their WW2 axis ally.
Germany and Austria. Remember that Hitler was an Austrian.
They don’t even get taught about their own atrocities (Nanjing Massacre and so on), so how could they know about the atrocities committed by their WW2 ally.
Somebody should dress up as Horishima Nuclear Bomb and let them see how fucking insensitive those kinds of costumes are.
