Well there's this neat thing called google, you see...

That makes total sense, and I feel like an idiot because it's glaringly obvious. I appreciate the explanation!

Yeah, a service dog is not a regular dog.

Your average soft-mouthed breed (dogs bred to retrieve and carry delicate game) can hold something squishy like clothes without getting it very slobbery. I imagine that very drooly dogs are weeded out of situations like this because they're already trained to be picking up tons of things around the house (remotes,

If you watch the video, it's actually designed to be loaded by the dog. They also say that the biggest hurdle in the disabled community is the controls, although I'm not sure why that would be.

I totally agree there - I get that they were both in damage control mode, but I thought Cordelia would be much more protective in her response.

Fair enough - it's entirely possible I'm giving the writers too much credit in their intentions and execution. To me it decidedly didn't make her more sympathetic - I felt like she was crying over what she'd become (failed child star whose life is no longer glamorous) rather than what happened to her, and then pulls

I kind of think that the fact that she just gets over it is important to her character. She's been through so much emotionally messed up shit that she can't be cut deep anymore. She either doesn't allow herself to really feel, or she's been left incapable of it.

Botox yo. Takes care of that problem for 6 months at a time!

The real problem (from what I understand) is that it's a spicy food that is also dry and very high fat (both things that make your stomach go into acid overdrive). I imagine your biryani is safe and delicious!

I have ulcers, and while spicy foods are obviously a huge no, so are high fat dairy and high fat foods in general - apparently they increase your stomach's production of acids. So if you have a high fat, spicy, dairy -ish food that is also dry (nothing to dilute the acids) it seems like a pretty bad combination.

Avatar twins!

We had a live in nanny until I was 12 (parents work bonkers hours and used to travel a LOT). Would you say that the cooking thing is different with live-in vs full time vs part time?

Yogenfuz?

Yeah, the taped mouths was a huge red flag for me. None of the snakes shown are biters and all of them are pretty good with handling, so if they have a biting risk then they also have some seriously stressed out/pissed off snakes. Not okay.

I think the worst part is when they don't even try to hide it. I TA, and I've seen assignments emailed to the prof that still had blue hyperlinks in them. COME ON.

Wellness core is a good stinky alternative as is Orijen, but if she isn't having problems (females are less prone to urinary issues) you're probably fine!

Since you have a lady cat it's probably not such an issue, but just a heads up on the blue buffalo - my vet said that they see a big spike in urine crystals and blockages when owners switch to blue buffalo.... Something about the mineral balance.

Considering the staggering volume of recalls and pet deaths due to tainted foods in the past few years I chose to feed Canadian sourced/manufactured foods that are produced in human grade facilities. This isn't because I think my pets are people, but not wanting to risk renal failure is a pretty big deal for me.

When my dog passed away a few months ago I had a dream about her that night. I was standing in the kitchen, and she was wiggling around where her food bowls were. A blonde woman was standing beside her. I asked why pooch was still in the kitchen, and the woman explained that she loved us, and would hang around for a
