It’s just more sadness as another previously enlightened multicultural country (perhaps the most multicultural on Earth) follows the path of the US, the Phillipines, Poland, India, Brazil, the UK, Turkey, Tunisia, etc. into being a proudly stupid racist reactionary shithole where all the proudly uneducated people

You say that, but I really appreciate it. I like the quick shotgun blast of thoughts and opinions from multiple sites and people versus a single individuals deep dive. Sometimes you just don't want to read a whole review.

The biggest argument for forums is that if I go to Google or DDG and type in:

It does look better. The question is did it really need this? You do have diminishing returns coming into play here. The original, despite being a late gen PS3 game, still looks good, and it’s PS4 remaster even better.

Every time someone expresses a lack of enthusiasm for something or has a debate online, there's always someone to project their own emotional immaturity to the situation and insist someone is angry.

This game must have prevented layoffs,

I’m not angry. I’m wryly amused at the executive of a company known for mistreating its workers using a project that is an entirely known quantity from the beginning as a disingenuous example of supposed improved working conditions as though that’s not an intentionally misleading apples/oranges comparison.

My favorite part of this whole deal is ND crowing about how this game was made “without crunch.”

I think the $70 price tag is unreasonable. TLOU2 was longer, more ambitious, had a brand new engine, story etc. and came with a free PS5 upgrade for $60.
This is a remake that uses the same engine, same music, same mo-cap, audio, music - and excludes the multiplayer. It should be a $50 title. I am not bent out of shape

Kudos to the organizers to have the balls to let their creators describe their thoughts without muzzeling them on behalf of their sponsors.

That’s awesome, kudos to this guy

They’re a gaming blog. Gaming journalism just doesn’t exist anymore. (some would argue never did) You’ll get a few good pieces here and there and Kotaku has been blackballed by weak, petty companies like Bethesda iirc, for stirring the pot but nevertheless. Blog,

It’s not like rage and overreaction is the thing people like him feed on and rely on to remain relevant!

Nice to see good ol’ fashioned Republican family values haven’t changed.

He seems like a self-important dipshit spiraling after realizing it wouldn’t be long until he was caught. Trying to justify it with some laughable pseudo-intellectual mystique is just the icing on the dipshit cake.

“saying the event will “take a massive hit to their image” for removing “one of the highly-rated runs that was well-received by everyone.”

I truly do not understand what point this dude was trying to make and I’m not sure he does either.

Or they said “apparently we can’t get away with half-assing things on the cheap, so don’t bother.”

big disagree. a lot of the npcs look terrible and most of the environments are blandly brown-and-bloom, like some many games from that era.
