You’re ignoring the bit about hyper-aggression and pepper-spraying a family with young children.

This is correct. It’s being distributed as a patch, which contains no data owned by Nintendo and requires the user to supply their own ROM. Not much Nintendo can do about it.

He’s not distributing the ROM so from what little information I know of this, Nintendo can’t really do anything.

Comment offering very legitimate career opportunity making $7,000 a month working from home, possibly doing video game blogs.

Comment posted too quickly for me to have read article in entirety. Condescending sentence calling out author for not including piece of information clearly detailed in paragraph 4 of the story. Follow-up referencing tangential or entirely unrelated fact betraying a shallow understanding of the topic based on half a

Comment that contradicts author’s post but in a passive-aggressive way to seem edgy, but really I’m just fishing for upvotes and hoping people will respond so I can call them out and spit vitriol at them.

So people are willing to give their ID and be limited to one GPU per 30 days, but not to wear a mask to enter Walmart or show proof of vaccination to eat at Applebee’s? Fuckers.

Except this is the Switch. I fully expect Metroid Dread to break all kinds of franchise sales records. It will easily sell over 1 million units (every retail first party game on the Switch, except one, has) and I wouldn’t be surprised if it outsells Prime 1 by this time  next year.

This sucks. And hurts. My father loved Clapton. Worshiped at his alter of guitar playing to the point of handcrafting his own amp to duplicate the amp Clapton used on the legendary John Mayall and the Bluesbreakers album. Owned multiple Strats, of course. Could play pretty much any Clapton solo note for note.

Conspiracy theories make dumb people feel smart and let people shop for what they want to hear instead of the truth. It’s a pervasive problem that is getting worse; Clapton is just one of the higher profile dummies.

Okay so here’s the thing: The ragequit was immature and could be chalked up to age...but defending it and refusing to apologize afterwards is what turns it in to bullshit.

“Sry [sic] to be mad because I lost the most important match of my life,” he tweeted responding to a fan’s critique.

one thing that the Polygon report mentions is that the Capcom hack from last year revealed the same file names in both RE4 and the book, so probably that was the smoking gun that pushed this lawsuit forward.

See, now that a bunch of guys are the top hot tub streamer suddenly the people who were up in arms about it aren’t so mad anymore.

This notion that you can take highly political situations and just opt out of making a political statement means you’re not being political is eyerolling. It doesn’t have to be a grand political statement. No one is arguing they should be putting out some sort of philosophical treatise or anything. But when you make a

The issue here is entirely that this was not "modding", it was hacking the alpha so you didn't have to have legit access

I love how the example image used for the article is actually one of the rare occasions the video says where the new version looks worse.

Blizzard just needs to make the exact same Overwatch we’ve had the last five years, but ALSO be incredibly different enough to stand on its own as a new game; and make everyone feel powerful as they play without anyone being able to beat ME specifically.

I feel like the community’s reaction to 5v5 was overblown. Like, I understand the reaction from pros and content creators, because this is their actual livelihood... But for Joe with 2500 SR—hell, even for most GM players—the rage and judgment feels mad premature.
