Nothing bugs me more than hearing “I made a mistake.” Unless you thought that a) sexual harassment was legal, and b) that there was nothing morally wrong with it, you didn’t “make a mistake.”

Past hope. Past kindness or consideration. Past justice. Past satisfaction. Past warmth or cold or comfort. Past love. But past surprise? What an endlessly unfolding tedium life would then become.

Prince deciding to do a cover of current Foo Fighters song during a torrential downpour at the halftime show is everything. Man was a bad-ass.

God this pisses me off. As someone who has had mental health struggles, it frustrates me to no end when privileged assholes like Spacey and Weinstein talk about treatment for their offenses, which everyone knows is a load of crap, and it just makes treatment in general seem like a cop out. It’s guys like him who make

I still remember that list of names in support of Polanski. Many such names were supremely disappointing. I think of that list every time their names come up and it leaves a shade of grime on everything they do, no matter how much I enjoy their work.

How can it be that so many heads are rolling, yet Allen and Polanski remain members in good standing of the Academy?

The Smothers Brothers’ show was cool since they didn’t care whose chain got yanked; they pretty much went after the network, the military, bigots, politics - anyone who was a deserving target.

He also did Edward Scissorhands which never ceases to make me cry.

It’s 2017, still waiting for verifiable evidence for:

....they are going to freeze to death, aren’t they.

You’re worried about spoilers for an episode that aired over six years ago?

Whenever someone says “____ was clearly high when they created this great movie/comic/show” I point out that everyone thinks they’re creative when high, but look at it sober and you realize you’ve created the last decade of Kevin Smith’s filmography.

one podcast I listen to thinks the significance was him putting a black glove over it, I guess symbolically taking the black. Leaving Lannister behind and going to join in the fight against the dead. I sort of think it’s as simple as that (or maybe, it’s cold and snowing and also, it aint easy to be Jaime Lannister on

I’ve seen a lot on indie rock producers slag them off, I think because they like rough edges on their music and Steely Dan sanded those off. The rough edges were all in the lyrics. But, these records don’t sound overproduced. There’s a groove there, it has soul.

Sweet Rosalie, she’s working at the five and dime

I liked when they started breaking into the Lord Tariq/Peter Gunz song that samples Black Cow.

Both of his solo records are straight-from-the-heart beautiful.

He had a couple of woefully unappreciated solo recordings. 1994's “11 Tracks of Whack”, and 2008's “Circus Money”. Go check them out. I was looking forward to a third. I always travel with pretty much the entire Becker/Fagen catalogue on my trusty iPod. They’re like old friends. This is heartbreaking.

Netflix used to have that “Classic Albums” making-of series on streaming and I thought Aja was the best of them. Looks like they lost ‘em.

I don’t think we’d go through so much with Jon, including him coming back to life, for him to be the Prince who was promised’ baby daddy. I kinda see the theory that if anyone is either of these legends, Dany is Azor and Jon is the Prince, or something to that effect. I wonder what significance there is to his hand, I
