On the day in the near future where I lose all patience with the impotency of smartphone batteries, and the deficiency of their Call (audio) quality, and I'll go on to own two devices, one for calls, and one for web, gps, email, and everything else, and one of those devices wlil be a Nokia, if they still exist.

My guess is, the constant transfer of data to the cloud and back, requires a battery that would limit the portability of the device, hence the focus netbook formfactor over the tablet.

Can't wait for the USB version.
