My wife and I were just talking about this yesterday because there’s (yet another) anti-trans bill on the way through the TX legislature right now. We had the news on, and they were interviewing a trans woman who I would never have even guessed was trans if she hadn’t just said so. So my wife and I were talking about

Can we please focus on the real bathroom issues? Like people who leave the sink all wet or piss all over the seat? These are the people we need to be banning from bathrooms.

If you don’t succeed at first, get taken to court by the ACLU and humiliated once again.

Spot on. And this...

Adding.... THIS LAW KIDS WILL GET ABUSED AND ABANDONED. Forcing people who do not want to raise a child (or cannot raise a child) to raise a disabled child is a terrible, terrible, terrible idea.

Not only would this prevent women from having the choice to abort, it robs a woman who would choose not to abort from preparing herself to have a child with a disability, who may not even survive birth. This is disgusting on all fronts.

Yeah but when youve taken 6 months to decide whether or not to even schedule an interview the only question I’m thinking is “do you even want me to work here?” Nobody is talking about the epidemic of hiring managers killing this country by enabling nepotism.

Yeah, but have you considered that he sounded nice, and he publicly thanked a war widow? Important stuff! I think we need to start giving him some credit.

I watched that speech last night and he was straight up literally Hitler. Literally no difference. Talking about America First and deporting people and martial law and all that. Dictator for sure. This is pretty scary now. I am scared and you should be too. Trump is Hitler but worse.

My issue isn’t with giving her that platform. What happened to her husband is a tragedy, and she should get more attention. My issue is with Van Jones describing Trump’s comments as a historic moment, or what makes Trump presidential.

A week or so ago Van Jones came out on Twitter as an Assad supporter, so naturally he’s also okay with the budding tyrant Trump.

I think the difference is the respect for the institutions of government and of the American people. GWB had bad policy that tanked the economy and got us into unwinnable, destabilizing, unjustifiable wars. But he at least respected the office of the Presidency, the humanity of Muslims and immigrants, and while he

When W. is the voice of reason, things are quite fucked up.

Is it safe to assume we collectively opened the wrong envelope in November?

This Twitter account is my lifeblood.

So how long until we get to the Stalin-esque purges? Clearly the comms group is going to be the first to go.

THANK you. Jesus Christ there are some dramatic people up in here. Everything I’ve read indicates they are extremely similar. Just because Bernie endorsed Ellison doesn’t make Perez Satan incarnate. I quite like Sanders, but he does inspire some rabid followers...

Are you this stupid and selfish naturally?

Looks at Tom Perez’s record of being a highly-intelligent, public policy-minded civil servant with a record of doing nothing but focusing on civil rights, voting rights, disability rights, unions, labor rights, etc. and then looks at people denouncing him as “the worst” and talking about taking their toys and going

I literally had to read your comment several times to try to figure out that you WEREN’T just saying “god forbid we respect the DNC chair.” Because I mean...if you’ll literally leave the party because the guy you liked (which, let’s be honest, a lot of people were fired up about Bc a dude who doesn’t even call himself
