As clean as Japan is, it still surprised me that a lot of restrooms don’t have paper towels or even hand dryers. Bring hand sanitizer or a handkerchief. And make sure your Pasmo/Suica card doesn’t get bent lest it doesn’t work during rush hour and you hold up the hundred people behind you :).

As incredibly unbalanced as this game is, I personally think it’s the best in the series to just plain watch as a spectator. Especially players using less popular characters like Kuroda’s Q and RX’s Urien. I’m glad the scene is still kicking (so to speak).

I mean, if a remora evolves into an octopus and a piranha becomes a shark, why not?

I thought so too! But apparently, it’s a sequel about the two main characters’ children.

It’s fantastic but a vast chunk (about 80%) of it is character art. I kinda wish there was more monster/environmental artwork. Although to be fair most monsters/Persona are rehashes from previous games and have already appeared in earlier artbooks.

I think the biggest thing is tutor access to Defog. We used to have to perform multiple transfers over multiple generations. Now we have deliciously legal combinations like Prankster Murkrow/Whimsicott self-defogging Milotic or Bisharp, for example.

Japan’s Starbucks’ get the better themed drinks. I remember earlier this year when the Unicorn frap was all the rage, Japan had cherry pie fraps. Tasted way better and had a cooler gimmick IMO.

It seems to be a thing in Japan. I remember in the food market near Fushimi Inari-taisha (Thousand Gates) in Kyoto a stall was serving 1/2 inch slices of bacon on a stick basted with sauce. I’ve never seen that anywhere in North America.

I keep confusing this game with Radiant Historia and think it’s getting a remake/remaster.

Iggy’s the best (Calgary fan here). I just wish someone would give him a contract, he’s still more effective than most 3rd/4th liners.
