I learned my lesson the hard way to never buy a third party memory card! I bought one of those monster cards that held 8x the data and one day just decided to erase itself. I felt emptier than the memory card for a few hours...

I agree, the release format helps the replayability of the game immensely. I find myself thinking of new strategies at work! It also helps that I’m somewhat of a completionist and the challenges are like fun, murderous puzzles to solve . There are some jarring things like English accents in the middle of Marrakesh but…

When I visited Japan I noticed that almost everything had a cute mascot of some sort. How many mascots will the 2020 Olympics have and I wonder who gets to design them? Shigeru Miyamoto seems like a sure bet, and maybe Game Freak. Unless Pokemon straight up becomes the official mascots.

Been a Sony fan since PSX and I’ll be the first to admit...Microsoft is kicking Sony’s ass at product design this generation. Even the PS3 and its slim versions didn’t look particularly pleasing. IF Sony is going for a nondescript look on purpose though, I’d say they’re doing a good job.

Such a good show. Now I’m really torn as to whether he did it or not.

You know, I played and beat Half Life 2 for the first time last year with the mindset that this game was at the apex of PC gaming when it came out. I was surprised to still be blown away at certain moments, like the bridge battle and the eerie calmness when you’re driving the buggy along the coast.

The music is still fantastic, as usual.
