I disagree, actually, since it isn't the end of the story, and King is back to writing more of it! That should have been the ending, sort of, it just should have been a definite ending - Roland realizes he's done this over and over, but finds a way at the last minute to break the cycle. Or not, and something else

I remember the book being a good one, and I remember part of the plot, but certainly not the whole thing. The one thing I do remember about the ending, tho, was that it tied in with Rose Madder (was it?) with some mystical hookum, and I was a bit put-off by that. Not totally, and I still think of it as a good novel,

I find watching intently is the best way to stop people from engaging in their PDA. Lick your lips a few times, place your hand on your inner thigh, and when they look over, give a creepy smile and an eyebrow waggle. Works like a fuckin' charm.

King novels where he sticks the landing:

Couldn't find it with both hands, huh?

A Link Between Worlds
Legend of Zelda (first one)
Link's Awakening

I'm sure he has the 411 on a good lawyer, too many people out there quick to drop a dime on someone.

I was going to say "don't you mean Chevy Chase" but you said "lovable"…

I'm an adult!!!

Good thing no one pressed charges. Would hate to see Bill Murray in a jail cell.

If you've only been listening to hip hop for two or three years, "of all time" loses its meaning. And there's no way anyone who is familiar with hip hop beyond the last few years would call this the greatest hip hop album of all time. Based on his SNL performance alone, I feel confident in stating that. But the fact

His artwork didn't get better when he was the one paying the bills, tho. He started his own damn company and STILL couldn't draw for shit.

This is how I feel about Star Wars and why I feel like neither the prequels nor the new film really works. Everything that needed to be said about those characters was said in the original trilogy.

Been at it since I was 13, so I'm sure I have built up a tolerance for weed. I still get pretty damn faded, but I don't usually try to do much of anything when I'm super baked. I know I don't make a hell of a lot of sense and can't really follow most conversations, but considering what I was like when drunk, I'll take

It isn't their best but not remotely bad the way the reviews made it out to be. Lots of broad, hammy performances, but done purposefully.

Rum and ginger ale is the shit! A bit of mint in it is even better.

I discovered I like getting stoned way more than I like getting drunk, especially b/c I could still function to some degree no matter how stoned I got. Granted, still functioning didn't mean I could really do anything, but at least I wasn't waking up face down in the gravel of my own driveway anymore.

"It was the best of times; it was the blurst of times"?! Stupid children!

I thought that was the big problem with libertarians: overconfidence in themselves. That's the problem with all "rugged individualists" isn't it?

I can't wait for another of these spambots so I can post "Your stride mother sucks cocks in hell!"
