The problem is that their current bike line gets insane prices. Everyone says they should try competing with the other manufacturers, but then they would need to deal with much lower margins.

Why care? Because last weekend I rode mine over 100 miles on freeway and twisties, spent a day at a OHV Park, then took twisties and freeway back home. Can’t do a trip like that on a dirt bike, and most of the ADV bikes are significantly heavier.

The problem is, people have a known cognitive bias toward blaming victims. By blaming victims, we tend to reinforce the idea that we are superior, that we would never have made similar mistakes.

I drive by that on autopilot every day (paying attention, obviously). I take the left exit, and have never had it move toward that barrier.
