I wonder what lawyers made them go with 10 full seconds to turn it off. Did they really think the lawsuits would start flying if it was a more reasonable 5 seconds?

Sounded like Harris might have had a sniffle.
And this is why Pagani Zondas sound so good.
Any chance they do a GMC version?
No. I always sold my cars separately. The best way to lose money on a car deal is to involve a trade in. They know you just want to get rid of it. I watched people hammer around over the price of the new car, only to lose $5K on their trade.
Thanks! And if you *are* in a dealership, remember that the best negotiation you can ever do is to get up and start walking toward the door. No need to get angry or upset - just thank them for their time and start leaving.
People trap themselves thinking that it would be rude to just leave. They are emotionally…
One of them was a Tesla, but the other three were well under $60K: Fiat 500E, Subaru STI, and Nissan 370Z. The Fiat was cheapest, and it was the one they brought to my house. The STI was an advance reservation for a limited edition. All were super easy.
If the dealership pushes back, I would just tell them that if…
That is ridiculous. I used to sell cars, and the worst thing you can do is go to the dealership because you have no real leverage. By email, you hold all the cards.
I bought my last 4 cars via email. Each time I got a no-BS internet sales manager. In one case, they offered to drop the car at the house with the…
That’s the reason they have invested in asymmetric influence campaigns via the internet. It’s a super-cheap way to bring down opponents.
And it worked on the US. The worst part is that 1/3 of the country still won’t believe they were duped.
Yeah - no way something like the Bolt could have 240 mile range.
Costco actually is an exception. They pay pretty well and provide healthcare to the majority of their workers: http://www.businessinsider.com/costco-pays-retail-employees-20-an-hour-2014-10
I loved that you brought this one on here. Even though I did vote CP ;)
Let me get this straight:
Agreed. We are becoming too much of a blaming culture. This stuff happens, even to pro teams and people who know what they are doing. Going out to push the limits on machinery means that things can get broken.
When compared to fuel savings over the life of a vehicle though, it’s not even close.
If you’re going to go there, you have to lay blame on the people who read news. Exclusives and controversial headlines get more readers.
