That’s $85k for those of us in the US.

Great video. Thanks for posting it!

Why is it that a show with non-white men would indicate that it is part of the diversity struggle? Most people on earth are not white men.

Starred for Mercedeses.

To be fair, someone who buys a rig this expensive can probably already afford a nice track car.

Agreed. Not to mention that success in most of these race classes now is entirely dependent upon what allowances the organizers will grant your car to make it competitive, coupled with your budget to exploit those allowances.

Why not look at the Mazda 6? It would definitely be my choice in that segment.

Why not use a Hayabusa V8? If going for 500 hp, that seems like the logical option.

Since the Corvette didn’t beat the LMP1 cars then, I guess it came in last.

Yeah, suck it euros for winning the overall race. We set the bar low and we jumped over it. So there!

Yeah - sorry. The streaming chat last night was full of “vette freedom hur murrica”. It gets pretty obnoxious. It’s not like we actually have more freedom than Germany or the UK.

Given the Bosch connection, it could be the BMW V10.

GM has said that the Camaro is bigger than the ATS, but it also likely has less sound deadening. It will be interesting to see the final weight.

I own a classic car too, but what you’re saying is just not true. 85% of the average vehicle’s embodied energy comes from driving, with only 15% attributable to manufacturing and disposal. After roughly 20K miles in both vehicles, the Prius will have already caught up in terms of energy consumption, and after that,

Amazing that you would get angry about a fashion model being a fashion model in an advertising image.

McLaren made a big deal out of the fact that the two motors have a different block. But the only real difference in the block was that the P1 has an integrated electric motor. So the engine is effectively the same. You can see them trying to make a distinction in the Chris Harris video, but there’s a reason you can’t
