“many planes don’t have climate controlled or pressurized cargo holds”
Bear with me for a few moments. The thread started out with Trevor saying he had been stopped for being black. And I think everyone knows what that means and does not disagree. But then he went on to give a list of police-reasons - that are the same reasons that everyone has been stopped for. And then went on to say…
It’s kind of like cherry-picking the race issue, when gender inequality is a much greater issue. I’m not using it against you - in no way does it contradict racial profiling.
“What’s The Most Bullshit Reason You’ve Gotten Pulled Over For?” if I didn’t mention the elephant in the room someone else would have.
Seems to indicate there is racial profiling. Isn’t that what I said?
“How/Where does gender apply to a conversation of racial disparity”
“So again, to pretend as if race *isn’t* a factor in who gets pulled over is absolutely asinine and ignorant.”
“There was zero reason to comment”
Although there are racial disparities in that study - what stands out most is that men are twice as likely to be searched as women. The likelihood of being stopped by race - 10% vs 13% - pales in comparison.
From the study - it looks like men are the ones being profiled the most.
“Are your boobs large and generally uncovered?”
“the 356 HP rear-wheel drive”
“more regular people are buying Teslas.”
The guy’s name is Xander Fuckwit. I don’t see what the big deal is.
Don’t sweat it. I thought I was reading the comments for Morning Shift, but somehow scrolled into the next story.
When your engine quits when you are turning left in front of a semi traveling 85 mph. And any number of other similar situations.
The key term in that equation is combustion chamber volume (CCV). And it is an independent variable as BigBlock440 noted
What part don’t you understand? TheRealFrying_sloth based his analysis on the assumption that the Chinese gov’t would keep the 25%, while my assumption is that they would remove the tarrif as it is not needed to raise the consumer price by 25% - which was the point of the tarrif in the first place.
“just for starters, this raises the price of the good at import and therefore increases the amount the china gov’t gets”
