I guess I agree that people outside the team don’t have a right to complain but I would say that those in the team certainly do. You can’t expect to have a girlfriend when millions are at stake and the team needs you to practice 2 days straight. That’s the sacrifice. That’s the heroism of doing what you love.

If your happiness comes first over the team then you can leave the team. You should. I haven’t done esports but I’ve been in competitive teams and everyone understood that there was no opportunity for a personal life. It’s what everyone wanted.
