The best gifts are services. Food delivery, house cleaning, dog walking, etc. Give them one less thing to do. 

Various tins and containers. My 1yo loves a coffee tin that I put some dry beans into. I also gave him a formula can that I cut a hole in the lid. He puts toys in it.

Ugh. No one looks at registries. We got a TON of clothing and things that we returned because it was all sports balls. We’re scientists. We wanted space stuff. Our registry also said pretty please to meal delivery, house cleaning, and a diaper service (we use cloth). No one went that route. I don’t understand people.

It is more than a pager for me. I work in a lab and will have audio books playing on my wireless headphones. I can pause them with my watch when I need to talk to someone.

One thing I love about mine is the ability to see texts. My son’s teacher texts me with questions and notes. She always starts with urgent/non urgent. I’m honestly using it like a pager to see if I need to call someone.

I actually stuff crocheted animals with scrap fabric. Works well and makes them more machine washable. 

They are not. They are a result of the skin repairing itself. The repair materials are tough. They aren’t the same as the original skin. The bigger the repair,the more likely a scar will develop. The only help from DNA would be from stem cells.
