My son will be here in a few weeks. I’m really worried I won’t be able to care for my fur baby!

I have a kid coming in about a month. We are in a compact apartment. We are getting a storage ottoman on wheels. All toys go in the ottoman.I can hide them away when I’m feeling cluttered. We can roll it out of the way of the door to the deck. Then I also have an ottoman. I hope this works!

And a lot of the divide is stupid. I was shopping for leggings for baby. I found a pair in both section and took a picture to post to FB to see if anyone could tell me which were for my son. No one could tell. Can we please stop this stupid divide? I just want a leggings section!

Yup. Other than the past 8 months (preggo), I have tend to buy good quality stuff. Right now, nothing fits for more than a week or two. I have been getting better things second hand. Poshmark has been a life saver

We have a jar for our date night fund. Every few months, we cash it in and usually have enough for pizza out. We tried a new restaurant in town last week

Still trying to master it but I have found a few things. I do a quick 15min run through as soon as I get home. Any major clutter is picked up and I can see what else needs to be done. Energy level pending, I spend another 15 min on things like putting laundry away. We also have a list on the fridge of little things

How about the extra coverage when you get a u-haul. They threaten you that you will have to pay the whole cost of the truck up front if something happens. But doesn’t my auto insurance cover me there?

Yes! To the pregnancy things. I’m almost 7 months and carrying big. Those comments and questions make me feel insecure and judged. The only comment about my appearance should be how fantastic I look! I actually even had someone ask me if I was planning on circumcision.

Agreed. Plus adding extra moisture increases the chance of disease transmission.

Stuff happens. I have a couple grand in debt because my rent went up 55% and it took me 6 months to get into a more affordable place.

I tried this last year with capital one. It is at 22% I have a more than decent credit score and I have another visa at 15%. Bastards wouldn’t even consider it. I only use that card for absolute emergencies.

Look up a recipe for fillet mignon. Substitute the cow for strips of tofu that have soaked in some kind of simmer sauce. You get nice, crunchy tofu. Then do a fried egg on top and use more of the simmer sauce rather than the flavor packet.

My niece has begun to mimic. So an adult goes and brushes their teeth at the same time. That way she does it for the same amount of time as the adult. Figure an extra brush a day doesn’t do me any harm either

I have Ally automatically deduct $20 a month into my savings. It comes in handy in weeks like this, where I was sick and lost 4 days of work. I was going to be a little short on rent but I was able to pull it from the savings. It isn’t much, but it saves my ass a couple times a year.

My WIC nutritionist hates juice. I was really surprised that it was included. She said it is impossible to convince people that it is bad. She only likes having it available to pregnant women who are struggling to eat (like me). I need calories and liquids seem to be the only way to get them.

My favorite response is to start rubbing the invader’s belly while staring deeply into their eyes. My friends just ask and I pretty much always say OK.

I wouldn’t. However, I did run into a problem on mother’s day. I’m very visibly pregnant. I was waiting for my order at papa murphy’s. There was only the one bench and it was entirely taken up by one guy. I asked if I could sit and he said no. Luckily there was another mom in the area that almost cut off his head. All

i’m 24 weeks. I asked for a does this baby make me look fat? shirt.

I’m 24 weeks. I asked for a “does this baby make me look fat?” shirt. I imagine it will probably be coupled with a favorite candy bar or something. Basically, thank her for going through the hell that is pregnancy and do something sweet. For father’s day, I’m getting an outfit for our son that matches what he wears

Hey parents: How do you maintain friendships with your non parent friends? We are having our first in September. I only have one friend with a kid and the rest are likely years out. I don’t want to lose people that I’ve been friends with forever!
