Yes, what is the “eastside” is up for debate, but what East L.A. is not. East Los Angeles, is a specific location with define borders, and no other place in LA is East LA, not even Boyle Heights, and definitely not Silver Lake.

Also, apologies in advance for this very LA quibble, but what is East LA and what is the east side is a very touchy subject at the moment.
