Okay I get it now what the issue is with moving the boat, but somethings don't make sense. Did it dock in the wrong port? Was the original intention to truck the salt?

Couldn't someone just air drop them an old stars and stripes?

This one is tricky as its the brand new Jumex museum in Mexico that's only been open for 4 months.

Yes. This is why I'm thinking of canceling amazon prime. Its just too easy to order things I don't need, and then adds up to lots of stuff and lots of money gone.

I have tried all the boxes, AppleTV, Roku, Chromecast, WD TV live, and HTPC. Honestly for me the Roku was the least enjoyable to use. This was several years and versions back of the Roku, so things may be much better, but at the time it was buggy as heck.

I will add that with Windows MC and a USB tuner card, I get to do DVR with over the air tv. Its the tits.

Yes! I agree. In LA we get over 100 channels over the air. The biggest issues here is that planes flying overhead will scramble the image for a little bit while they fly over, and it being LA we have lots of planes flying over. Otherwise its great.

One route that didn't get counted here, is having a full computer, HTCP, to use for cord cutting. There are loads of small cheap machines (i'm using a dell zino hd) that have more than enough power to stream all this content. You also have the benifits of having a windows/linux machine. Add a usb tuner or card, and

The thing is that in a lot of ways, they are right.

Its interesting because the Gold Line didn't really help East LA at all. I'd say Mariachi Plaza and Soto/1st are the only two really helped out neighborhoods. Once the line gets closer to east LA, its more or less a mess. Part of it the issue is that people heading out of East LA generally don't want to go to Union

LA can totally have its cake and eat it too. Notably, I don't see a reason why dense housing can't live happily with single family homes. Hopefully the re-writing of zoning will encourage more dense housing along the major thoroughfares, while still leaving room for single family dwellings. One of LA's major benefits,

Thanks for the reminder, I always forget about freecycle.

Its intresting, I moved from a tiny 275sq ft apartment to a relatively huge 700 sq ft apartment recently. I didn't move almost half my stuff. Even in my small place I had almost enough furniture to furnish two apartments. Now my issue is all this extra stuff, and getting rid of it. It takes so much energy to list each

They are probably the dullest design they ever made.

Alissa, I feel like we should get together for a beer some time. So many of the post you do are really up my ally. I don't love Marimekko as much as everyone else seems to, especially their iconic poppy print. But, they do make other great fabric designs. My current pillow cases are a lovely Marimekko leaf design.

Just shrink it and then enlarge it again using nearest neighbor or whatever on photoshop.
