We still print out agendas for each of our meetings. So I'll take notes on the agenda itself. Whenever possible next to the agenda item, and if I need extra space on the back page. I then just file them. The only real problem is searching through notes for stuff. I'll have to skim through a bunch of pages to find what

You learn pretty quickly. If you travel over seas at all, you'll find that most countries have a complete different keyboard lay out. The french keyboard lay out is awful. You have to use the shift key in order to type a period for example. However after using it for just a week, I got pretty good at it.

This is at work. I must say I'm impressed, but its a huge private university. Even our public wifi here is super fast.

I came here just to mention these. They're really great for day bags on trips. When I went on a trip to Europe recently, in the last minute I packed on of these bags, but since I had also taken a small backpack I didn't think I'd use it. Well it was the only bag I did use. It was perfect for carrying all myst stuff,

Guadalajara, Mexico is <3 for me. I love cities and vacationing in cities. As Mexico's second largest city, and its business capital, its metropolitan but still incredibly mexican. Plus you can take a train to Tequila, be in a beautiful town, and have some of the best drinks.

This is totally what I did with my printer. Its in a cabinet of a credenza, and it rolls out when I need to use it. I print frequently enough that I keep a printer but not so often that I leave it on or plug in for that matter, so there is no worrying about over heating. I've really quite liked the set-up.

The ios version of Plex is universal, which means it will run on both your devices seamlessly. Of note, if it was just optimized for the phone, you'd still be able to use it on both it would just not look great on your iPad.

This is fantastic. Its like a cleaner version of my current set up. Thanks for sharing.

This is basically the same experience I had.

I'm right there with you bud. I'm not sure if its the user or that I don't completely remove it, but one computer keeps getting it back over and over. BLAH!

Yeah, there's been a lot of additions in the last year or so to CL. The map view for apartment searches is great. Padmapper was still way better at it, but the CL version will do in a pinch.

This is a good point. In LA the city begged and pleaded with some amount of success to have employers stagger their employees start times because congestion in and out of downtown is so bad. For really big companies there really isn't a need to have everyone in at 9am. We do this at work: I get in at 8:30am or there

Would this app let you use an ipod touch as a phone with a bluetooth headset and a data connection?

10.6.8 has basically been the perfect OS for me. Zero complaints.

Just did this on a long trip to europe and it was GREAT. Not only was the apartment much cheaper than any hotel in Paris, by a lot. It was bigger, had a kitchen, and a washer dryer. Would never stay in a hotel again now that I know. The added value too is that you generally get to live with the locals. In Florence we

The only issue with not being full time is that not only is it less take home pay, but for me more importantly, the benefits for non-full time employees can be greatly diminished. For example where I work now, part time employees don't get matching 401k and don't get free tuition (I work for a university) for their

I'm not vegetarian, but I do know for a fact that vegetarians can get complete proteins and fats from plants and dairy. Its a little harder if you are vegan, but you can still get it done with plant products. Mostly, you'd be looking at the standard tofu+rice, bean+rice, corn+beans, to make complete proteins. Note

Classically, you'd grow corn, and let the beans grow up the corn, and then plant squash/pumpkins to grow on the ground. Its a native american tradition called the three sisters: http://www.reneesgarden.com/articles/3sist…

Yeah, I would not do the chain and replace it with an under brace, or better yet, I know its DIY, but just get one of these and attach it to the side: Fold-Out Convertible Desk
