Well it was working until this post totally jinx it.

My question is where do you buy an ultrablook without the OS. That would be great, not to have to pay for windows if you aren't going to use it. I'm a mac guy, but I too am of the mind that if I was to switch it would be to a linux distro.

I came to post this too. Works great to boot.

Yeah, I was just looking at that. Now the question is how to get my parents to use it.

Anyone have any idea about cheap ways to make calls to landlines in Mexico.

Maybe Paper Pete and his friends can help fight them off.

I would be interested in more detail please.

Yeah, that's not longer the case. They've been updating their network to support the phone and the last couple iphones will get data that is some cases is faster than ATT's 4g. Its still a work in progress so in many areas it will still be just edge, but its moving along.

Yeah, I got the thrive and really regret it. It sort of sullied me on android tablets all together. Sold all but a nook color that is running ICS and that's as far as my android tablet days go. The biggest issue for me though is the ecosystem. The apps all look awful on a tablet. Yelp which I used all the time is an

Not that it matters because its a router and should be kept out of sight anyway, but in an attempt to make a non-ugly router they made one of the ugliest pieces of tech I've seen in a long time.

But see, you said it right there, and you're still not getting it. Giz included chromebooks, which are as cheap as 200 bucks. The MBA is a great value for the price. Not ever 300 dollar laptop is a great value. Giz even broke down some price ranges and you're still huffing and puffing, so clearly you don't understand

Yeah. I agree. Actually I don't think patenting an idea in and of itself is out of the question, but I do think a working model must be submitted at the time of application. That's great that you have the idea, but if you don't have a working model of it then sorry.

I'm assuming that you're looking to use it in the same place you are with the macbook, in which case there are several apps that will act as airport speakers that you can beam the music through using itunes.

Thanks. It worked great. Seems like the trick is to use something to convert to Kindle's native mobi format, which is what instapaper does. But, now that I know that I see there are tons of other sites that do it too without an account. Thanks again.

I'm trying to send a text heavy site to my kindle. When I use the chrome plug in it basically doesn't work. It just hangs there for hours, but it looks great in the preview. Saving the page in html and emailing it to my kindle email works, but its not properly formatted. I shows all the html. Pdf too doesn't look

The problem is not the price so much, though I do agree it should be a little less expensive, even if its at cost, because there is no better publicity than your friend having a cool new gadget, but that's not the real problem. The problem is public perception. The issue with the Pro, is that it should come with the

Yeah. Once I figured out what they had done, it sort of made sense. Having the green button minimize to the miniplayer was always one of people's pet peeves with regards to the inconsistency of what that button did. Now it does what it does in every other program. Kind of sort of change the size of the window to

Oh! Well then. I'm glad they got rid of the hats.

Oh! I see they added a button. The green dot doesn't do it anymore, its a knew icon on the top right. Hmm and even with all that its pretty easy to get everything to look more or less like before. Yey!

Oh, I see, its now just a key combination switch. I can live with that! :rejoice:
