Putting Ikea furniture together is like my FAVORITE part of going to Ikea.

For those people needing only occasional windows access, I really have had great success using VirtualBox.

I did not had this problem, but I don't doubt it looking at what the actual URL is. I just got a page full of PHP code.

Funny that the article should mention the Lifehacker made toolkit, because its been broken for ages now. Maybe someone can take a look at it again.

I didn't mind the UI so much for its outdatedness, but for the two window aspect of it. You'd have a window open, but if you waned to use the UI instead of keyboard shortcuts, but had to shuffle between the windows. It was really not ideal.

I was just about to come back and edit my comment, with regards to coverage. Cell phone service is always one of those things were YMMV comes up. Plus the Optimus is a decent phone. However being able to tether 4g data was a life saver on my last vacation up the California coast.

I had the same phone on tmobile, but upgraded to the Samsung Exhibit II 4g and to their 30 dollars a month unlimited text, and 4 g data, plan. It only comes with 100 minutes a month, but if you can skirt under that, then its a much better phone and plan.

I have this case, and I love it: [amzn.com] I also have a screen protector on it. The combo works great for me.

Well, lots if not most mobile providers will let you send an email to a phone. If you get the cell phone number and carrier, you can just do this with an email program and an address book. [www.emailtextmessages.com]

I got in under the skin of my teeth, but honestly I wouldn't care had I been left out of the list. I never upgraded to Lion, and don't see any particular good reason to upgrade to Mountain Lion. As big an apple fan boy as I am, I am not totally engulfed by the apple ecosystem, and that seems to be the only benefit of

I don't think he is bashing the customization so much as the trouble vs reward aspect of it.

The gawker media group has been in a weird anti commenter spree lately. This is an post from the main gawker blog: [gawker.com]

While I like it as a back up option Amazon needs to do more than just add content. They need to 1) Make the content easy to access. Their current system is a mess at best. At the bare minimum they need to implement a "save for later"/cue list. 2)They need to add way more device support than now. 2.5) Make the list

Does it have DVI out? Because there is a simple 5 dollar cable solution for that: [amzn.com]

Pro tip, you can use rubbing alcohol, in a tin can as your fuel source, instead of the gel packs, and it works rather well.

Were you roaming internationally? I can't remember the last time I was charged for roaming or extra for texting while roaming. And its helpful because its still pretty cheap and you can use it those times you are out and about away from a hotel with a phonebook.

Really, say forget it. I've upgraded dell Demnsions 1100 and 3000 recently, also about this old and its just not worth it. I was able to buy 2 HPs for 150 (75ea) on craiglist that blew them out of the water. I think if you are dilligent you could find something that is just a 3 or 4 years old for 150 no problem.

We need to set legal president for a signature to be accepted on a PDF before a fax machine will disappear. I'm surprised Adobe hasn't tried to get this done by now.
