I think this really depends on her employer and state laws. The short answer is maybe. 4 years of living together should be enough for many states for you to be considered domestic partners. You might need to file some paper work.

I've noticed that lots of places now only have free wifi in the lobby. I think like many have mentioned this trend will probably not be an issue when 4g (though 3g is probably better than most hotel wifi) is readily available. Just tether and go.

Yeah this is basically it. My sister is using a hackingtoshed dell mini 10v and has loved it. My brother wanted to get something, and basically after years, the best option would be to get his the same underpowered machine. No improvement of any kind.
