Poorly stored Haribos get hard. When properly stored, tehy are soft and wonderful.

I saw a video of a college professor making racial comments to blonde girl who was struggling to understand racism. She got upset after a few and conceded defeat. That said, she was a young adult and she knew (or ignorantly thought she knew) about the subject and they were having a class discussion. But to do that to

Yup. And if this is meant to be some interdisciplinary curriculum that incorporates the kids’ art class, why not have them learn about the art made by slaves?

Whatever happened to those thingamajigs? A collection of pages with words on them? What are they called? Oh yeah. Books!!!

Ways to learn about slavery while maintaining the humanity of enslaved people:

“It happened. I think it’s good that they know.”

This is nothing. A friend of mine told me her elementary school teacher divided up the class into Jews and Nazis and let the latter treat the former like shit so “everyone could learn about the Holocaust.” (Age appropriate materials weren’t doing the trick? I don’t know.)

Don’t be so harsh! The New Jersey education system is just demonstrating that it’s conducting education on an 18th century level.

Ahhhhhhhhhhhh my eyes. Even though I’m sure it’s fake photo, it still can’t be unseen.

It’s weird to me how young his hands look compared to his face. That’s the opposite of many people I know.

Sean Spicer,

Just gonna leave this here:

I “love” how some people can’t understand the concept that some brown people were born here, and sometimes their parents, and sometimes their parents’ parents. It’s as though everyone who’s not white is an immigrant (taking jobs, committing crime, etc.)

I also felt this was “a bit trolly” and that I would go about it a different way, but then I realized I have no idea how I’d talk to him any differently.

Huny is an O.G. on the Internet!
