I guess China is different. When I went there half the people look at us confusedly, the other half pointed and giggled.

That's a good point actually. How is buying a discounted Steam game, and gifting it to someone for cash, any different than buying a 4pack and doing the same thing? Granted Valve isn't able to force you to buy 4 copies that way, but it still seems like a double standard.

I rethought this last night after I was in bed and couldn't work up the energy to get up or deal with posting via my phone ;]

I will never ever stop raging at developers who don't understand what the terms "configurability", "options", and "give the user a f*&$ing choice" mean. Especially for something as simple as a layout change, all you need is an extra radio button in the options page.

So what you guys are saying is that it's up to consumers to raise the cost of bad PR to the point where it surpasses the cost of having customer service... I guess.

I don't see how this stands up. If you could literally sell a Steam game second hand, you're not putting any extra load on Valve's infrastructure. Any Valve-incurred cost associated with the new owner is negated by the LOSS of cost associated with the original owner. Even if you consider the extra activation as a

I see what you did there.

I thought so too, but then it's no different from the word Lemonade.

I prefer Luigi.

On the topic of valvestore... why are headcrab hats perpetually out of stock? Is this some kind of sick joke? It's been 6 years since it was released.

It's bugging the crap out of me... why has no one said it yet?

EDIT: Oops, duplicate post.

Protesting games is silly. Protesting games by playing games is silly. Valve not communicating even a sentence for years is silly. Valve is silly... Valve has always been silly.

Being a intermediate-level self-taught griller, I've tried this with various non-fish meats at various time ratios, and never really found the magic spot. I'm sure it depends heavily on the type and thickness of the cut, but what does LH recommend for common grilled meats (e.g. burgers, filets, etc.)?

It's a lot easier on everyone when the business' staff take care of these matters. If that could always be the case everywhere, in every line, that would be great. Unfortunately not many counter-attendees are like you, or they just don't give a damn. Then there's the lines that are so long that there's no staff around

The Chinese do it by making sure no available space exists between them and the person ahead of them. Seriously. It was really a culture shock.

Also, it seems kind of pointless to make people wait for support for new languages. All you really need is each user's language preferences and you can connect them how they want, regardless of "official support" for each individual language. The only thing you'd be missing out on is the flavor text. They could easily

I would like to see ASL as an option ;]

There is only one solution.

This is like fortune cookies, if the cookies were games, and the man writing the fortunes was quite biased and didn't care much about his job.
