Someone did this in our office a couple years ago. Changed it to "Now you're thinking with portals!" He got reprimanded by the network/printer staff pretty hard from what I hear. Granted it's the IT office's printer, and is thus not really mission-critical to any users, still, for what it got him I'd say it was a

... which means you should notice even faster. Unless you don't look at the keys OR the monitor when you're typing.

I'm still amazed that Input Director gets NO mention in any of these "control your PCs with one KB+M" articles. Lifehacker! Are you listening? Have you tried Input Director yet? I'm trying to yell without using caps!

Well LH chewed up, shrunk, and regurgitated the image, still it gets the point across if you zoom way in.

Interestingly, since Chrome already uses the titlebar for the tab bar, using side tabs gains you almost no vertical space. I just tested it by using my finger while transitioning and the vertical gain is literally a few pixels at most.

I just recently discovered this screen. I had been dealing with not having arrow keys for text editing in swype for months after I got my Droid X. Then I finally got fed up and googled this answer in like 2 minutes. Shame on me.

I believe the word you were looking for is conscientious.

It should. I've never had a jailed ssh account, but from my understanding all it does is limit you to certain directories and/or commands. I'm no tunnel expert, but I think as long as you can connect to your SSH server then it should work.

I'm not really sure about the stale connection issue. I haven't tested it while trying to do anything significant, and my 3g has been on the whole time I've tested, so, technically I have no way of knowing if my phone is even using the tunnel, short of connecting to my ssh server and viewing the traffic.

These all make sense to me except for the "peeling off layers" trick. In general the colder I am the faster my body shuts down and wants to sleep. In the mornings, even when it's average temperature or slightly warm outside I end up going to work with a jacket/coat and thin gloves on. Keeping my body from losing

Works nice. Tunnel can auto-connect on wifi connection. One thing I'm not too fond of is that the tunnel doesn't seem to auto-close when wifi is turned off though. But I'm guessing this is mostly because it doesn't necessarily know whether wifi is OFF vs. just disconnected, because if the wifi signal drops and then

Titanium Media Sync. Syncs specified folders between phone and either Dropbox or FTP. Haven't tried the FTP functionality myself.

I was under the impression app store devs just sent a binary to Apple, which is checked for stability. Perhaps some LH readers can clarify this?

JOOC, how many people actually let their Android connect to wireless networks automatically? I don't even keep my wifi on unless I'm explicitly going to use it for something. Even doing this my battery life isn't as good as I'd like. I can't imagine what it would look like if I left it on or was using it all day (and

It does kinda look like that. Especially in b/w.

So you've checked the code of every app you've downloaded for data thieving techniques? Bravo.

Perhaps I'm misunderstanding, but there seems to be a contradiction here.

The reply:

If it wasn't obvious, my mention of SQLGuru was referring to the commenter to whom you originally replied. After re-reading my post it kind of sounded like I was referencing some application designed to compile code.
