It feels like almost a million years ago, watching Jon Stewart make one last desperate plea on the eve of the 2004 election for voters to please make his job harder. Comedy was great under Bush, but imagine how boring it could have been under Kerry.

I’m not a fan of The Big Bang Theory. I really enjoy Young Sheldon. There are a lot of funny scenes and touching moments.

I watched like 2/3rds of an episode once when I lost my remote and it didn't seem like a bad little show at all. Certainly better than the show from whence it came. 

Is it me or is the ‘90s weirdly underrepresented as far as nostalgic pop culture compared to the ‘80s?

I think Nolan and Joy have made some incredible stuff but they really struggle with some bad “mystery box” tendencies. Westworld had some very high highs but it certainly padded it out unnecessarily here and there.

I’d be perfectly okay with Nolan & Joy just telling us what the ending they had in mind was, so everyone (the audience, the cast, the crew) can move on to work and watch other things.

2020: Wearing a mask is a choice! You can wear a mask if you like; but you can’t make me wear one.

2024: I cannot be forced to sit next to someone wearing a mask! You wearing a mask is an attack on me!

He seems to be implying that if the person was wearing a mask, they must have a communicable disease and so he felt unsafe sitting next to them. He himself seems bound and determined to make himself as susceptible to communicable diseases as he possibly can and assumes it is everybody else’s responsibility to keep him…

There’s a weird conservative tendency to think they are being attacked by simply being in a presence of someone who they assume has more liberal values than they do.

I am really, REALLY curious how someone else wearing a mask affects him.

Anyone that is that insistent that they aren’t drunk is absolutely drunk. In other news, what an utter child.
