I think they could’ve continue making movies, but a lot got derailed with Chadwick Boseman’s death. After endgame, the MCU lost its 2 biggest stars and characters. Sure, Hemsworth got charisma, but the core of the plot in the MCU in the Infinity Saga hanged on Iron Man and Captain America’s stories.

I stopped watching The Daily Show well before Stewart left, but it’s striking how familiar it all feels on Day 1(b). It really was a perfect vehicle for him, and I guess still is.
