That's like saying "computer is not a technology term; it has been used for centuries to refer to individuals who compute sums for military and scientific applications."

I dunno man, when you talk about something that has a 99.99% prevalence in a population, normal is a totally fine word to use. Or just nothing at all. It is a remarkably safe assumption that any random individual is not trans, so no qualifier is needed.

I don't buy your argument for two reasons.

Yeah, to me that's a million times more "problematic" than getting some details wrong vis-a-vis trans issues. Come the fuck on. Win Butler and co are clearly allies. Pick your battles.

The first track is the first movement from Pictures at an Exhibition played on a synth that samples the vocals from All Star. It's nothing short of a genius idea.

He's getting some positive press stateside right now. I saw some article, on slate I think, that told me he's the new "artist to watch from the UK" or something like that. Hard to believe after what he turned in last night, so yeah, I think someone's getting a little payola to promote him here.

The two songs he played were boring, trite, and nearly identical, even lyrically. I could believe he will do great things someday, but that was a weak performance.

He can certainly sing, I'll give him that. But could you distinguish the two songs he played? I guess the first one had the gospel choir singing backup, but that's about the only difference.

This is truly glorious mishmash of talking points. Well done!

Jeez, spoiler alert on the title plz

HelLOOOOOOOOO DOL….hey, where did everyone go?

I haven't heard this theory before — is it show canon? It's brilliant either way.

That's going to be any interesting happening, to say the least. We already know that the moment before he meets the mother is Ted's "lowest point". Intrigue!

Guy calling his partner-in-juvenility “Slumdog,” for example, is more lame than offensive.

For unknown reasons, I read this comment in the voice of Eminem performing a bizarro version of "The Real Slim Shady"

I presume that's the pseudonym he uses when he visits his girlfriend…in Canada!

The Lutz segment is hilarious

So, basically, it's a better version of the Magic Hour.

On the other hand, he's been using it as a platform to whip out some great impressions, which are good enough to feel like a magic trick to me. More Bob Costas please!
