I’m a HUGE Oscar Isaac fan and I thought he did great with what he was given but overall I was disappointed in the episode. I was sure it was gonna be one of those times when a “dramatic actor” just knocks it out of the park and carries the episode but most of the writing just wasn’t that strong and I didn’t think…
But why male models?
I feel like I’m one of few people who just unequivocally likes this show based on these comments lol. It’s fun to watch, the dialogue is often great, and I’ve generally liked the way the plot has progressed and I’m a sucker for period pieces, even if they’re not perfect replications of bygone eras.

“I know you stole vape juice.”
Evil Dies Tonight, dude.
It’s inspiring to see her (and Land) climb out of the abyss. But Maid is limited by the white lens through which it is told. The show is empathetic about the plight of women like Alex, but doesn’t do enough to demonstrate how distinct their experiences are. Nor does it acknowledge the level of privilege that Alex, a…
It’s good, but it’s no Patrick Stewart “Salt ... and Peppa!”
The problem was there was an 18 inch floating fortress in danger of being crushed by a dwarf!
