I think there’s a pretty big difference between food shaming women in general and questioning the perspective and habits that led to being a 300 pound woman.

I’m a HUGE Oscar Isaac fan and I thought he did great with what he was given but overall I was disappointed in the episode. I feel like I’m one of few people who just unequivocally likes this show based on these comments lol. It’s fun to watch, the dialogue is often great, and I’ve generally liked the way the plot has progressed and I’m a sucker for period pieces, even if they’re not perfect replications of bygone eras.
