I’ve long been in this bandwagon. I appreciate the engineering of a high-quality timepiece. But in terms of everyday utility, I just want date and time from one. Thus I honestly don’t think I’ve worn a wristwatch since I slipped the first flip phone in my pocket in the late 1990s.

Actually, there was a Smokestack already in KC that predated Smoke/Jackstack when it started out in Martin City. It is/was on old 71 HWY just north of Blue River Road. They coexisted until Jackstack started expanding, and the original Smokestack asserted its trademark.
